An external facing website I designed a few years ago that is constantly being updated.
A different site design compared to the Shop Small Business sites. A complete redesign is in the works.
An informational site that was a lot of fun to build. I based the Shop Small Business sites off of this site, but the product site has a mega-nav and search.
An email I delveloped with a fun background gif I made using Adobe After Effects along with some other mobile awesomeness.
I got this cinemagraph aligned really good. It took a bit, but it's almost seamless. The k-weight was really low too compared to the others.
This is one example of the the many pages that I built for our brand portal, which shows our brand guidelines, imagery, logos, etc.
Motion track is fun. So much fun that I made it a part of my team's yearly goals. We do a lot of emails. We're kind of a big deal in the email world.
In our brand portal I built design systems for all the email lines of business - Retail, Group, Government and Product.
Some examples of some display ads that I have done recently.
A super-low k-weight animated background gif compared to some of the others. Super-fun too.
Currently, there is a site for Illinois and Texas. I helped save this team over 500k so far by being able to build them this site and a lot of display ads. The site is doing very well too. They receive a lot of traffic every month which gets them many sales.
I was able to help the C1 team build a their site too, which in turn saved them a lot money as well. This team wanted to stay away from the look and feel from our blue branded sites. Even though there are some of the same branding elements, it still has it's own look. I am currently working with them on a comeplete redesign that will be done in the next few months.
The Product team wanted an informational site for each of our five states that could help employers learn more about the products they can buy from us. The site needs to be updated with content that I hope to get this year otherwise we might sunset it. I like this site becuase of the mega-nav that I developed for it. I also put search in to it too. This is something that the next version of the Shop Small Business sites will get.
I used motion track so that the graphic of the heartbeat would follow the runner as he runs down the street. The gif is used as a background image with live text floating on top. I like developing emails this way because it's so easy to move and change the color of text to fit on mobile.
I had fun getting this hero animation looped right. You can see the slight jerk at the end of the last frame, but it's still pretty good.
I initially built a lot of the content that is hosted on our brand portal. Now it's set up for other developers to contribute to and I manage those content updates. I also worked with Brandworkz to help get the platform set up and I continue to work with them as issues and updates happen. The page here is about our colors. The pdf linking from here does not show all the content on the page.
My team likes it when I add things like "Learn Adobe After Effects and Motion Tracking" to their goals." This helped with the Soical media projects we do too. This email uses the gif as a background image with live text floating above it.
The next step in the current digital design systems is to create a whole new page devoted to chunks of code that the developers can grab when needed. External vendors can also see this information. The pdf linking from here does not show all the content on the page.
A lot of these display ads have a toggle to show our state tagline. This way, the the tagline doesn't get in the way of other elements within the ad. Some of the smaller ads do not need the tagline per legal requirements.
Another email that I had fun building the hero idea out, but I also had fun building the grey sections in the middle of the email to work properly everywehere. Floating live text again.
